Privacy Policy

JSON It is engineered with a zero-upload architecture. This policy explains the guardrails that keep your payload fully local.

Zero Collection

No accounts, no telemetry, no hidden trackers. JSON never leaves your browser tab.

Edge-grade Isolation

Everything runs locally with sandboxed editors, so payloads stay in-memory only.

Transparent Controls

One-page policy with human readable checkpoints and explicit opt-in analytics.

Thank you for using JSON It. This document explains how your interaction with the site remains private and sovereign.

1. Information we do NOT collect

We intentionally avoid storing or transmitting personal data.

  • No personal accounts or login states
  • No IP fingerprinting or user profiling
  • No uploaded JSON or clipboard data stored on servers
  • No tracking cookies unless you deliberately enable analytics

2. Non-personal diagnostics

Anonymous telemetry (browser type, device class, high-level usage counts) may be captured to improve reliability.

3. Processing model

Your JSON stays inside the Ace/CodeMirror runtime in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or cached remotely.

4. Cookies

No cookies are set by default. If you enable analytics manually, that vendor’s opt-in cookie policy applies.

5. Third-party services

UI, editor, and analytics libraries (Ace, CodeMirror, Radix, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) operate locally and respect their own policies.

6. Security posture

Because we don’t persist your data, the attack surface is reduced to your local device. Keep your browser updated and lock your screen when idle.

Linked resources abide by their own policies. Review them before sharing sensitive payloads.

8. Change log

When updates land, we bump the timestamp, highlight adjustments, and communicate via release notes.
